Alain ABERGEL   

A chartered accountant and auditor, Alain Abergel began his career in 1980 by founding an independent personal cabinet, which developed and expanded to become today a recognized player in audit, consulting and court-ordered expertise.

Drawing on his dual university training in law and accounting, he became an Expert for the Administrative Appeal Court of Paris and Versailles in 1986, Expert for the Paris Court of Appeal in 1987 and Certified Expert for the Court of Cassation in 2002.

He is also a member of the Arbitration Chamber of Paris, Expert registered with the French National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Member of the Institute of Accounting, Arbitration and Mediation (IEAM).

With his professional activity oriented towards court-ordered expertise, consulting and arbitration, from 1988 to 1991, he acted as a Secretary-General of the French National Council of Legal Experts (CNCEJ). Thereafter he became Vice-President of the French National Association of Business and Technical Experts (CNEACT) where he is today the President.

His career has led him to gain seats on a number of public committees, notably the Working Commision on financial regulations for the General Public Prosecutor's Department of the Paris Court of Appeal and the Economic Intelligence Research Committee of the General Secretariat for the National Defense (SGDN). He also carried out specific assignments, notably as a Defense Advisor to the Ministry of Justice on the assessment of risks for companies operating in the field of security in France, which led him to become an Auditor for the National Institute of Advanced Security Studies (INHES).

He has been a French Foreign Trade Advisor since 2007.
